ARTISTIC WRITING SOLUTIONS (AWS), founded in 2000, is a freelance company that handles a wide variety of writing services that meet many consumers’ needs. From proofreading to editing to various freelance writing media, AWS functions off of top-of-the-line service that is never rushed, plagiarized or mistake riddled. AWS’s main objective is to provide high-quality, cost-effective freelance services that satisfy and provide a cushion that emulates having one’s own personal freelance team at disposal.

AWS offers five distinct services:

Proofreading - The final step in making sure that your manuscript is in tip-top shape and ready to be viewed by someone other than yourself. AWS searches line-by-line, detecting and correcting any errors in spelling, punctuation, typing, or formatting.

Editing - Without a clear working knowledge of sentence structure or a flair for words, the most simplistic documents can be a recipe for a nightmare. AWS will find and fix all grammatical errors and revise text, in addition to proofreading.

Freelance Writing - Whether it’s the next big screenplay idea or a previously published book that needs re-working, AWS’s writing arena ranges from creative to technical to business to just about anything. AWS handles it all!

Research - No two research projects are alike, but no matter what the call-of-duty may be they all have one thing in common: a need for questions to be answered. AWS takes pride in its techniques to get to the bottom of these “unanswered questions” by way of field, library and internet research. All research project data is recorded in a log and source material is always documented.

Typing - Fast and accurate describes AWS’s team of typists. Be it data entry, legal documents, letters or contracts, the end result is always on-time and error-free.

Ms. Compton has worked in and for the entertainment industry for over 14 years, having handled such projects as screenplays, documentary films, and Academy Award winning productions like the critically acclaimed 1998 Best Adapted Screenplay winning film Gods and Monsters.
